Glaze and teracota
Plates and tiles were used until recently mainly in areas exposed to high moisture levels - such as industrial premises, commercial and utility spaces, bathroom or laundry. However, because of their durability, ease of maintenance and cleaning, they have become popular also in the everyday spaces instead of wooden floors or carpets.Lately they are also commonly used as a decorative element of livingrooms, offices or commercial spaces - by covering whole walls, giving them a feeling of bigger depth and enriching with unusual patterns.
